If you’re looking to entertain and educate your children while on vacation, visit Grandma Jeanne Storytime on Friday June 23. This event also repeats every Friday until July 28, so if you can’t catch it this month, you’ll have some time! Mr. Waring will discuss the instruments he has made entirely of recyclables and then will give a live concert using them! This event exposes families to recycling, music, and education.
On July 14 and 15, attend the “Who’s Swimming in the Water?” program which is focused on the Connecticut River and helping to entertain guests with about what species of fish are swimming within it. A craft will also be made to celebrate the wildlife within the river.
The Nature Museum has plenty of August events as well to help expose children to all different kinds of educational opportunities that will also inform and entertain parents.
